volunteers

All types of jobs for volunteers of all ages available! Join us for some fun community service.

Various other odd jobs always needing done:
  • Spread the word! Visit with people you encounter on the trail, ask them if they’ve purchased a pass to support the trails. If not, encourage them to do so. Tell them about our capital campaign. With every trail user’s help,  we’ll be able to accomplish trail improvements to benefit all.
  • Clear branches and sticks off of the trail
  • Clean the chalet bathrooms (supplies are under the sink in the main room)
  • Restock kiosk maps and day pass envelopes (we’ll give you a store room key)
  • Round up fire wood for event bon fires (usually an armload or 2 of cut and split wood is all we need)

  • Candle Luminary Event
    December 26, 2018 6:00 pm

Ski, snow shoe, pedal your snow bike or walk around a loop lit by beautiful luminaria. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows by the bonfire. Bring your left over holiday goodies to share! Guaranteed family fun to cap off the holidays.

  • Heikinpaiva parade!
    January 26, 2019 10:30 am

Join in the fun! March with KNSC as "the bear rolls over". Line up at the Scott Hotel parking lot at 10:30, parade at 11. Lots of fun at the Finnish American Heritage Center afterwards.

  • Retro Ski Fest
    January 27, 2019 12:00 pm

Retro Ski....chili is back! Fire-roasted chili at the Triangle in Churning Rapids from noon to 2, then we start blazing trail.
